Welcome to The District
The District wasn’t created in a marketing office.
It was built between job sites, in the workshop, and after long days of real trade work.
This brand began with a simple question:
“Would I actually use this?”
If the answer isn’t yes, it doesn’t belong here.
Every product starts from that standard. We believe the things you wear and carry should be useful, well made, and built to last. They should feel honest in your hands and earn their place over time.
We don’t chase trends or release products just to fill shelves.
We’d rather build slowly, choose better materials, and create fewer things worth keeping.

Built by a Working Craftsperson
I’m Chris, founder of The District.
By day, I own and operate La Porte Decor Firm, where I restore old wood, build custom pieces, and work alongside other tradespeople. The District grew naturally from that life. It became a place to share the products, ideas, and culture I wanted to see but couldn’t quite find.
This isn’t a lifestyle created for social media.
It’s simply the life I already live.
Whether it’s something you wear, something that rides in your truck, or something that lives on your workbench, my goal is the same:
Build it well.
Keep it useful.
Make it worth owning.

What We Believe
Built on Real Work
Everything begins in an actual workshop, not a trend report.
Quality Before Quantity
We’d rather release fewer products than compromise on quality.
Something to Belong To
The District exists for people who appreciate craftsmanship, patience, good materials, and work done with intention.
Welcome to The District.
We’ll meet you there in the shadows.
